Smaller items are delivered by a carrier selected by Dog Box UK, and from dispatch are sent on a 48hr service. Most Dog Box UK products need to be signed for as do other larger items. Any damage/shortages must be signed accordingly and notified to us at the time of delivery, otherwise no claims will be considered.
We take great care to ensure that your delivery goes as smoothly as possibly, but it’s an unfortunate fact that circumstances beyond our control take over now and again leading to delays and upset.
From the receipt of your order you will receive confirmation from us detailing your order and advising you of the intended delivery date. Larger items such as dog cages & drawers are delivered by Pallex and will require a signature upon delivery, and you are required to thoroughly check the item for any damage that may have occurred during transit. You MUST do this!! Signing for the receipt of your delivery without checking is not acceptable, under no circumstances sign the carrier’s delivery note until you have checked for damage.
PLEASE NOTE – Due to the Coronavirus Pandemic all deliveries are kerbside deliveries this means the driver will place the pallet on your driveway or parking space and leave you to check the goods when he has left.
If damage is found please make sure you sign the carrier’s delivery note accordingly and refuse the delivery then contact us immediately, we will endeavour to send you a replacement as quickly as possible (subject to stock). If no replacement is in stock for immediate dispatch, we will advise you at this time of our next available dispatch date.
We are happy to deliver to your home address or place of work, whichever is most suitable to you. Delivery of larger items stock items may take between 3 -5 working days. A Next Day/Saturday delivery service is available (subject to stock) for an extra charge (please contact Dog Box UK if you require this service). You will receive notification by email or text that your order has been dispatched along with confirmation of the delivery date (unfortunately we cannot guarantee a delivery time) but we can give you an indication on the day it’s being delivered.
